This new layout is horrid and DA staff should feel bad. It's confusing, non-intuitive, ugly, and lacks any semblance of charm that the old DA had. I've been on this site for over a decade and seeing it be converted to a minimalist wet dream is a travesty. The layout is blown out and Massive, the text is bad on the eyes. I just-- I'm really baffled with how poorly designed this is. And maybe some of my reaction is knee-jerk and merely against the sudden change, but I really don't think that nostalgia is the main reason I'm up in arms over this overhaul. There's so much empty space. The text is all over the place, simultaneously too large for the eye in some places and too small and hard to read in others. It's too minimalistic and clunky, while trying to be smooth. It's like trying to pass off a polished piece of shit as a stone and finding the mess underneath. It literally hurts my eyes, which are not the best. I don't know why DA staff felt the need to convert their website to this
