Hello everyone!!

Well, recently I've been thinking about creating a survival game on Roblox called Emmaline's Apple Orchard, and I'm going to tell you all about the game's aesthetic. The story takes place on a farm. The game would be called Emmaline Apple’s Orchard, and here’s how the story goes:

After Edd's (the protagonist, who is a red apple) older sister disappears, Edd and a detective named Peach head to an orphanage since Edd officially becomes an orphan. However, Peach (a pear detective) runs out of gas, and they end up stopping right in front of Emmaline's abandoned farm (what a coincidence, right?). The farm has been deserted for years, and the apple trees form a mini forest around it. While exploring the farm, Edd gets separated from Peach and gets lost.

Now, let me introduce the characters and their roles:

Edd: The protagonist. He is a good all-around survivor but unfortunately can’t escape fast hallucinations.

Brandon: (He’s the pineapple I sent a picture of.) He is very fast and good at distracting the hallucinations. He has great stamina, unlike Edd and others. He also has an ability that boosts his speed when running.

Peach: She is also good at survival, just like Edd! However, she has an ability to throw objects at the hallucinations, stunning them for a short time, giving her a chance to escape. Unfortunately, she isn’t very good at running.

Pogo: Pogo is great at attracting rare hallucinations in the game. (For example: Emmaline has a 0.9% chance of appearing on the map, and Pudding has a 0.12% chance. Pogo can increase those chances—Emmaline to 0.13%, Pudding to 0.15%, etc.). She has good stamina and is great for surviving.

Berrie: Berrie is a strawberry. He’s good at hiding and surviving. His only weakness is his low stamina. But besides that, he’s excellent at configuring the farm’s energy machines. (I’ll explain more about the machines soon!)

Horatina: Horatina is well-balanced in everything. She configures machines efficiently and has decent stamina. However, she can only be unlocked after obtaining the Emmaline badge. It’s tough to get, as players will face the panic mode, which drains stamina, slows players down, and requires them to configure all the machines in a limited time.

Hallucinations:

Hallucinations are distorted and scary versions of Edd’s acquaintances. Here’s a breakdown of each one:

Brandon: The fastest hallucination in the game. If a player is using Edd’s skin, Brandon will apply Slowness II on them.

Horatina: Rare to appear. Whenever she shows up, she causes Nausea III, making the player’s screen shake.

Peach: A common hallucination. She simply chases the player, but if they hide, she will lose sight of them and stop chasing.

Berrie: Also common, but his weakness is that he’s a bit slow, which affects his chasing ability.

Edd: Yes, Edd can have hallucinations of himself, called Hallucination Edd. He’s uncommon to encounter.

Game Currency:

The game’s currency would be called Bucks.

Horatina would be an NPC in the lobby, selling characters and items in the store. Some examples of items are Apple Juice (which gives speed) and Bandages (which heal players’ health).

To set the cost for each character in Emmaline Apple's Orchard, it’s important to balance gameplay and the players’ desire to acquire characters, creating a progression that feels rewarding but fair. Here’s a suggested price for each character based on their abilities and usefulness:

1. Edd – 500 Bucks

As the protagonist and a well-balanced character, Edd can have a mid-range price. His cost isn’t too high but not too low either, as he is the central figure of the story.

2. Brandon (pineapple) – 700 Bucks

Brandon is fast, has good stamina, and can give a speed boost. These attributes make him very useful in many situations, so he would have a slightly higher price.

3. Peach (detective pear) – 600 Bucks

Peach is useful for players who prefer a more defensive approach, with the ability to stun hallucinations. Her cost could be medium since her abilities are good, but she’s not as fast as Brandon.

4. Pogo – 650 Bucks

Pogo attracts rare hallucinations and has good stamina. His unique power makes him an interesting choice for players who like deeper exploration, so a slightly above-average price would be suitable.

5. Berrie (strawberry) – 550 Bucks

Despite being skilled at hiding and configuring machines, Berrie has low stamina. This might make her less appealing to some players, so a more affordable price would be ideal.

6. Horatina – 800 Bucks

Horatina would be a more valuable character since she is well-rounded and unlocked by achieving a specific badge. The high price reflects her versatility and her rare ability to cause dizziness to hallucinations.

Additional Tips:

Prices can be adjusted over time based on player feedback and game balance.

Offering discounts or promotions (such as during special events) can encourage players to buy characters at specific times.

Unlockable characters through achievements or special events can be more appealing to players seeking extra challenges, which may justify a higher price.

This pricing system creates a progression where players feel they’re evolving in the game while maintaining a good balance between different character abilities.
