Can members and models develop lasting friendships?

I would like to think so. I know that members and models cant actually date but does that mean that we cant be friends. I talk to my model friends all the time and I consider them very special to me. I only hope they feel the same way about me. I am probably just being the hopeless romantic again but I really want to know.

What do you think?

I think that friendships can exist on here and off of here between performers and chatters of all variations eg Perf / Perf , Perf / Chat , Chat / Chat. I speak to an ex performer of the site and also to various chatters i have met on here via various other means.

I think it is totally possible. I am close friends with a lot of members and I love talking to then daily. It makes me feel so good when they make my day better by hanging out with me. I heart them

It's definetly possible...

I'm still in touch with a few models wich left the site for different reasons. With some I talk daily, with some weekly or monthly... But its still a friendship which has grown over a longer time.

And I have good contacts to performers which are still working.

It just needs to grow. Its up to you how you see it. If you think you are hiding and safe behind your screen it's hard to find real friends. But if you talk honest and respectful to the ones you like, everything is possible.

LickaU said some nice sentence in one of his threads and calls it "rule #1"... Treat the people like you wanna be treated.

very possible.. i have mebers who come to my room and tell me their life story sometimes it upsets me.. i am a very sympathetic person.. i am also very emotional... i can relate so people on so many different levels.. and i love to hear about others. i feel as if i am right there with them. i have mebers who email me and ask about my day. and those r the ones i cant wait to get on to tell them something exciting that happens in my life.

yes absolutely. I really value my close friendships I have here. Some of us have gotten so close, explored so many parts of ourselves together (I mean spritually here - hehehe :evil

), gotten each other through many rough patches and been so amazingly supportive of one another - I know we will be friends for life now. :drinkup

I have SO MANY friends as a result of being a model on this site. Several very close friends that are also models here, and several friendships with my regulars. While I may never meet these people face to face- I care about them and care about their lives. I have had several regulars confide in me and vice-versa.

I've been pretty sick the last few days, and the messages I've been getting have helped me through... I consider myself lucky to have met the people I have, and feel blessed to call them friends.

I think that friends can be made here.

There are some visitors to my chat room as well as models themselves can stay close.

So I think that lasting friendships can be made anywhere and this is a great place for that to happen!

i'm sure friends can be made here, i've done it with models and chatters, male and female. some have since moved on but we still stay in touch. is nice to log on to msn and see a friend there, even if you met them here, you still get a smile on your face knowing you day is about to get better...

Possible? I find it happens more often than not. And the rare dating exception can even occur, rules being what they are of course it shouldn't be encouraged and models should follow them for their safety, and to keep unruly beggars from even bothering to ask (though they ask and ask again anyway).

Even the prettiest of faces and the most flawless of women is very much human - I know most guys find some models completely unapproachable, even from the safety of the internet, halfway 'cross the world in their darkened room with their pants around their ankles and a reinforcement box of kleenex tissues, but EVERY girl has just as much to gain in friendship or even the online crush as the guys here. Maybe they're not as obsessive or as sad a case about it as the rest of us, but a simple friendship? On here? Of course it's possible. Most models can count on both hands and feet and multi-phalliced toys the number of friends they have here - so that even on the slowest of days, a shift on flirt is at the very least a social exercise amongst friends.

Exactly. When I say I look forward to seeing people on here, it's not just a line, and I don't think it is for any of us. When I'm not on I do think about you guys, a cookie commercial will come on, or i'll be wandering down the pretzel isle, or in the book store even. I have made excellent friends among the models and members alike and I think that even should my tenure here come to an end tomorrow as a model I'd still come and visit my friends!
